AUD/USD on track for another weekly loss
FXStreet (Córdoba) - AUD/USD fell to fresh daily lows at the beginning of the American session, but found support ahead of this year lows and managed to erase intraday losses.
AUD/USD touched a low of 0.8225 but bounced roughly from the same level it did last Tuesday and climbed back to the 0.8260 zone, where it is currently trading effectively unchanged on the day.
AUD/USD however, remains on track to post its fourth weekly loss in a row as RBA officials continue to talk down the nation’s currency. Latest round of comments came from Governor Stevens who said on Thursday he now sees a fair value for the currency around 0.7500.
