Obama: US will bounce back from the shutdown
FXstreet.com (Córdoba) - President Barack Obama spoke Thursday on the debt ceiling/shutdown deal as US government fully reopens after the 16-day closure.
No winner's here
The twin threats that our economy faced have ended, Obama said. We don't know how much damage was done to the economy. "No winner's here" but added that the US will bounce back from the shutdown.
We can reach a deal
US President called for balanced approach for responsible budget talks. He said to be certain that Republicans and Democrats can make progress and "get some stuff done". Lawmakers can reach a budget deal if politicians leave their ideologies at home, Obama said.
Finally President Obama welcomed federal workers back to the job after the shutdown.
