FOMC will meet as scheduled in spite of inclement weather

FXStreet (Córdoba) - Federal government offices in Washington, D.C., are closed due to inclement weather, however FOMC will meet as scheduled, the Fed reported in its website.

"The Federal Open Market Committee plans to meet as scheduled on January 26-27, 2016. Participants unable to attend in person will be able to participate by videoconference. All previously scheduled releases for Monday, January 25, will be postponed until the next business day government offices are open."
