Japan's factory output seen slipping in June - Reuters poll
According to the latest Reuters polls of 16 economists, Japan’s factory output is slowing down for a second straight month in June amid waning demand for electronic parts.
Key Findings:
Industrial production was seen down 0.4 percent in June from the previous month after it fell 0.2 percent in May.
An earthquake in western Osaka area in June was also noted, which forced some companies to halt factories temporarily, may have also impacted output.
The trade ministry will publish the factory output data on Tuesday, July 31 at 2350 GMT.
