Oil tumbles over 1% in reaction to Trump's tweet

The US President Donald Trump was out with his usual rhetoric on oil prices and blasted OPEC again in an early morning tweet this Monday.

Oil prices getting too high. OPEC, please relax and take it easy. World cannot take a price hike - fragile!.

In what was seen as a delayed reaction, oil prices took a sharp knock and tumbled over 1% in reaction to Trump's tweet. In fact, WTI crude oil was last seen trading around $56.50/barrel mark, down around 1.25% for the day.
