NZD/USD extends decline below 0.8600
FXStreet (Córdoba) - The NZD/USD slipped further during the American session and reached a new low for May at 0.8562. It has been moving with a downside bias all day and remains weak, trading near the lows. The Kiwi is among the worst performers across the board.
Price is consolidating below 0.8600 and pointing toward April lows that lie at 0.8510/15. The last time the NZD/USD closed below 0.8600 was in April 29.
NZD/USD resumes decline after 7-day pause
After reaching a multi-year high near 0.8800 early in May the pair reversed sharply and turned to the downside. Last week the retracement paused and the Kiwi rose slightly versus the US dollar. Today it is resuming the decline from 0.8780 and it has turned negative for the month.
Price is consolidating below 0.8600 and pointing toward April lows that lie at 0.8510/15. The last time the NZD/USD closed below 0.8600 was in April 29.
