Natural Gas Futures: Further gains look unfavoured

Trades added just 547 contracts to their open interest positions in natural gas futures markets on Wednesday as per advanced figures from CME Group. Volume followed suit and went up by more than 52K contracts, reversing at the same time three consecutive daily pullbacks.

Natural Gas faces initial hurdle at $4.00

Natural gas prices charted an inconclusive session on Wednesday. The move was accompanied by rising open interest and volume, which allows for further consolidation, always below the $4.00 mark per MMBtu for the time being.
